Welcome to my teaser page where the excerpt could be from any genre in my arsenal.

I love to share my writing as the story unfolds under my fingers and at times would love to share it with my readers, you.

On occasion I will share a teaser from another authors work, with permission of course.

And as some of you know, I love to cook so a recipe or two could emerge to reveal their delicious ingredients on this page.  Some from scenes in my books.

Sit back with a cup of something warm or cool and enjoy.

Imad’s eyes trailed down her body, then even slower back up to her face. The intensity warmed her body through her emerald green dress. T’ke’lah felt the buttons strain between her breasts making the material pucker. “Call the office and they’ll set you up with someone today if possible.”

He refused. “I’ll see you safely to work. My car is warm and parked out front.”

She glanced through the picture window past the neon lights, to see the same sleek black sports Mercedes from the restaurant now parked as he’d said. Unable to make an excuse, T’kelah’s fingers nervously massacred the paper lip rimming the cup of coffee.

Burning her skin, she yelped, then shook her finger to cool the hot flesh.

Imad was at her side in a flash, taking the hot liquid from her hands and setting it on the counter. Trapped by his touch, T’kelah froze as his lips caressed her fingers. Why were his lips so soft and his cologne more invigorating than the steaming cup of coffee?

“Mmm…Zimbabwe, my favorite.” He gave her a serious stare. “Doesn’t look like it’ll leave a blister. I’ll kiss it again to be certain.”

T’kelah tried tugging her hand, but Imad held her fingers until she stopped struggling and smiled a smile that made her heart flip in her chest. Carla abandoned her to help the woman at the end of the counter and waved T’kelah into the back room.

“T’kelah, am I taking you to work or up to your apartment for our meeting?”

Meeting? She couldn’t think of a decent refusal.

“The office. Give me ten minutes.”

Next week I'll share a delicious quiche recipe that goes well with a nice cup of coffee.
